Cabbage Salad

Cabbage Salad
This is a family recipe passed down from my mother.
Servings: 8 servings
Place the following ingredients in a large salad bowl:
- 1 head green cabbage, shredded
- ¼ cup minced onion
- ⅓ cup finely shredded carrot
- 2 packages (3 oz) Ramen noodles, crushed
Mix the following ingredients for the dressing:
- ⅓ cup olive oil
- ⅓ cup lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. sugar or honey
- 2 tsp. Braggs liquid aminos
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. McKay's chicken seasoning
Pour dressing over salad and mix well. Refrigerate overnight. Just before serving, top with:
- 3 Tbsp. toasted sesame seeds
- ½ cup toasted slivered almonds
