Caesar Salad

Caesar Salad

A vegan version of a classic salad

Mix well the following for dressing:

  • 7 tsp. lemon juice
  • Tbsp. olive oil
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. garlic powder or 1 clove crushed garlic
  • ½ tsp. Braggs or vegan worcestershire sauce
  • cup vegan parmesan cheese

For croutons, thoroughly toast 2 slices of bread in a toaster. Rub with a clove of garlic, brush with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt. Cut into cubes.

For the salad, place the following ingredients to a salad bowl in the order listed, mixing between each addition:

  • 1 large head leaf lettuce or romaine lettuce
  • Dressing from above
  • cup vegan parmesan cheese
  • croutons from above

Serve immediately.
