Bread Dressing

Sauté in a little water or oil until tender:

  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1 cup celery, diced

Meanwhile, blend until very smooth:

  • 1 cup water
  • ¾ cup cashews
  • ¼ cup sesame seeds
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp. nutritional yeast flakes
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • ½ Tbsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. garlic powder
  • 3 Tbsp. lemon juice

Combine in a large mixing bowl:

  • 12 cups bread cubes
  • sautéed vegetables from above
  • blended mixture from above
  • 1 tsp. marjoram
  • 2 tsp. sage

Stir well. Transfer to a 9 x 13 baking dish. Bake uncovered at 325℉ for 50-60 minutes.
