Arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet:

green tomatoes, quartered

jalapeño peppers, halved and seeds removed

small to medium onions, halved

Broil on the top rack of the oven for 5 minutes (or less if vegetables are starting to blacken). Turn vegetables over and broil for another 5 minutes.
Place the following ingredients in a food processor:

cut sprigs in a few pieces

Roasted vegetables from above
Process on high until salsa reaches the desired consistency. Chill and serve.
